I loathe Dean Koontz books. I read him when I was younger, until I read a book called, I think, The Face, and it was the WORST book ever. Terrible writing, crap plot, bad editing. So I pretty much stopped reading, only every now and then picking one up to see if age and time had made me start liking him. Nup. Can't stand the books.

Yet, I absolutely ADORE his Odd Thomas series. LOVE them, love the character of Odd, love the style of writing.

Go figure.
