What do you do when you have too many characters and plotlines to do justice to them all? And let me tell you something: killing characters off makes it worse, not better, since that just causes more drama among other characters that you would have had no reason to cover otherwise, but now they have drama and motivations and argh... I'm currently projected to have about 40 sims born into generation 5, and that's with plentiful inbreeding.
And enough with the new plotlines coming, but then you have the remnants of the old plotlines that never quite fade away; we have reaper children running around with untold powers, someone else with the ability to freeze time and never age, and then there's Kimmy and Terry's things going on.
And then I'm still anxious about the darkness of the upcoming plot, because it's going to be going on longer than expected. I guess I should have realised that already, but... I don't know if it's not too much, and if it's going to be so serious that everybody's going to start hating to read it, and stop. So I guess I could just scrap it altogether, but then how do I decide what to go with instead? What do I have to go with instead? I say there's too much to do justice to everything, but it's only because this big main plotline is bringing the others out; no big plotline, hardly any mini-plotlines either.
And now I'm all depressed about it. And no, my revision isn't going well either. I've said it before, but I really need someone to vent my imagination and plot ideas out at. It'd be death by spoilers, but still...
