Something of an heir poll and pics

May 08, 2011 00:36

I was sorting out what the next generation is going to look like as adults (which is indeed something I need to know in advance, at least this time), and pondered who people would like the look of for the next heir. They're not in age order or named since only one of them has even been born, but...

Yeah, once again 1 nice point sims sprout from absolutely nowhere, but high nice points go back to Nicola (Jose has 8, Tina has 5).

Elliot is awesome *nods* :P

Yeah, they have very distinctive faces - it's nowhere near as bad on the girls (plus the benefits of make-up), but the nose is serious business. And I'm not sure it necessarily /does/ look good on Jose, but when you look at somebody and see a personality rather than just their appearance... You'll hopefully get that with these guys eventually ;)

Lol, narrowed to five out of seven. 7 has his reasons (I considered putting him in a 'Mr Grumpy' t-shirt :P ), but 3's okay.

So do you think a male or a female heir would be better? And neutral mean/nice points, eh? *hmm*

LEARN TO LOVE THE NOSE. Lol ^_^

In order of preference: #2, #3, #6.

This is based almost entirely on physical appearance (with a side order of aspiration), since I pretty much always ignore the stats in my game and go by how they act. (I have had a boy how is "officially" both Mean and Shy talk his relative's ears off and spontaneously tuck in and dance with his little sister.)

I see no problems with anyone's nose. ;)

It's the Alternative Vote system! ^_^ [/politics geek reference]

2, 3, 6, eh...? Interesting. Wish I could say lots of things about them, but- *forces mouth shut*
*nods* I have so many mean sims this generation, they can't all be horrible ;)

The nose is hard to miss, especially from closer up, though I don't think it out-does Wally's from last generation >.>

I don't follow British politics, so I don't quite understand the Alternative Vote System, but I was voting the way they do for the Oscars, to pick the top ten nominees. It might work the same way. *shrugs*

I never complain about or judge anyone by their nose. Have you /seen/ my chicken-faced boys?! And I know you haven't seen how Old Adam transitioned in college yet, but, well, let's just say that his nose is now in the same class of impressiveness as Cyrano de Bergerac's.

And if the Nose isn't even as bad as Wally's then it's a very amateur nose indeed. :)

Meh, I only really looked it up on wikipedia, but it's just where instead of going 'I want ___', you list several in order of preference, so if you can't get your first choice then you might get one of the others.

Hehehe. The nose looks especially bad on some of the sims though, like number 2, because he also has a heavy brow with deep-set eyes, so everything seems to stick out even more. And the nose doesn't really matter to me, especially once I'm used to it (my Dad has a bit of a bumpy nose, but we love him and it anyway ;) )

And indeed it is - Wally's ubernose doesn't even look much better on girls! Take that, amateur nose! :P

Grilled cheese! I have a soft spot for grilled cheese sims as well as sims with 10 points of anything so I will pick number one. She's pretty too.

Number two sure does have some nose on him.

Interesting, and indeed she is ^_^ Though you probably wouldn't like her in your game as, like Jose, she's gonna have a major case of The Slouch ;)

INDEED. But he's kind of awesome, so he pulls it off ;) (And I'm getting used to seeing him)

Yes! I wasn't even thinking of his secondary, but yes to both! :)

...I may have already found out who these are. You know you posted your family tree? And before that the gen 4 sorted by aspiration? :) I may have cross referenced because I was so excited to see Jose and Tina's kids.

I'm off out shopping now, and as I love them all I can't decide yet. I'll let you know when I come back. :D

Hehehe! If you're willing to commit that kind of memory and effort into it, you deserve to have such spoilers ^_^

Cool cool :)

*was momentarily distracted by squeeing at the fact that Vivian has the 'Psychologist nose'*

Aaaanyway, I'm still torn. I like all the girls, but for some reason I keep going back to '4' and '5'. And then there's 2. I love the hair, I'm totally used to 10 neat points with 1 nice point (omg the list of my sims with those stats); and the rest would be spoilers. :)

...and I like The Nose... :D

*Blinks* Does she? Are you sure? I'm assuming by the Psychologist nose you mean the one they got from Zoe and came down through Bandura? I think Vivian's may be the same as the one Penny's kids have been getting from Cale, because Vivian got hers from great-grandpa Alvin. Elliot's is the male version.

Isn't 4 pretty? Trying not to be unkind, but most of the girls are going to have a bit of 'ugly duck syndrome', but they can be very pretty as adults. *Is curious what spoilers you know* And theoretically everyone should be able to figure out who 2 is, given that he's the only male with black hair and... I am going to have to have a mean heir one day, I'm sure :P

It does grow on you. Amost as much as it grows on the sim its on ;)

Hmm... Tough question. Maybe I'd go for #1 or #3. Partly because they're girls, and partly because of their aspirations. Grilled cheese and romance are always fun. On the other hand, #2 is a male knowledge sim, so there's potential for aliens (squee!) and #7 is interesting because he's mister grumpy. And #4, #5 and #6 are all sweet too in their own ways... The nose is great by the way, it makes them look so interesting, even if it's on the huge side. :)

Can't decide, so I'll go with #3, because having a romance heiress is fun. ;)

Aspiration is rather important this generation, 'tis true. And so far we've had grilled cheese & family, family & knowledge (though neither were platinum), popularity & fortune, and pleasure & pleasure - we'll need knowledge again, and romance sooner or later *hmm*
Don't have to be heir to have alien babies... ;)
Lol, poor number 7; I've given him a nickname that he'd hate anybody (except one particular person) calling him :P
Interesting and memorable face shapes FTW! ^_^

Iiiiinteresting... *hmm*
