If you haven't realised I'm stupid by now...
You know that problem I had that started me off on this whole new-laptop thing? It's come back, but now I know why.
See I downloaded a featured set of different camera modes from MTS2 and it is that which is causing my game to crash when I try to leave the free camera mode via tab - turns out I'm not the only person who's had that problem. Problem is, I'm an idiot who did not back-up the original camera files and I'm not confident that if I were to delete the new ones I have the game would reproduce the old ones and I don't want to break anything... So... if anyone were to know of a link or be able to upload the original camera file things (it's basically all the stuff you get in Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Cameras)... that would be absolutely amazing. Thanks.
