[Spoiler (click to open)]Hideki is a total monster! The way he killed Brawly and Madison shows how much of a psycho he really is. He’s no doubt the kind of person I would love to punch in the face repeatedly for all the things he did.
I really didn’t expect Brawly to get killed because to me, he seemed to have the least significant connections with Hideki or anyone in his custody. I mean: Elliot and Hideki are no doubt archenemies; Huey has alien kids like Hideki, and his sister is held in custody; Dwayne is Rodney’s grandson; Edwin’s mom is held in custody while his dad died during custody. As for Brawly, the only connections I could think of are that one of the people held in custody is his cousin while his aunt and uncle died in custody, but I don’t find any of them as significant as the rest.
As for Madison, oh boy… I also didn’t expect her to get killed as well, but I later felt that I shouldn’t be too surprised as well. Since her husband doesn’t really like humans, there’s no doubt that he would use her for his own selfish goals, and the he would kill her of once she’s no longer useful to him.
Man, I gotta say this even if I hate it: poor Rodney! Seeing one’s own granddaughter murdered right in front of your own eyes is definitely no pleasant sight. I gasped in shock myself when that happed. That was a really powerful way to evoke his feelings. Even his suicide left me speechless, though I was glad that he was back with Seth in the end.
That turned out to be quite a lot of words, but you’ve done an amazing job at this update that I ended up with so many things to say. Overall, you’ve done an excellent job at this update, Jess!

Ahhhh, but that is why you SHOULD expect Brawly to die - Hideki can have far more fun with the people of whom he has relatives or friends, and he can do much, much worse to Elliot than killing him. Brawly didn't mean so much to him and he didn't have as much to do with him, but his death could be used to get to his friends. But you're right in figuring out people's connections :)
Yeah, Hideki doesn't really care for anyone but Hideki, so Madison was always somewhat expendable :/
*Pets Rodney* He'll be safer and happier now :/ Though Madison probably won't thank him regardless - not now she'll know about what happened to her father Winston...
