Divorce
So, I have this friend who is going through a great deal of family burden. It's so heartbreaking to see an optimistic, heartfelt (yet, sometimes misunderstood :-P) man go through so much pain. I feel helpless due to my lack of experience in life compared to his. All I do is listen. I haven't known him long...a little shy of two years. But within those two years I have known a man who deserves much of what he's worked hard for.
I pray he's praying. I pray he has good dreams.
It's humbling to be the one who is listening. I hope his support has been filling part of the void.
Hearing such struggle from this perspective makes other things in life we cry and whine about seem so minuscule.
I pray he takes these 40 days to bond with Him so he won't feel alone, no matter what the circumstance. Selfless prayer can do so much.
He's taught me a great deal, and I'm thankful for him. :-) I wish him the best.
