I can't sleep
I don't know why, but for some reason I'm wide awake.
This weekend was really nice :-) I got to spend a lot of quality time with a lot of my friends and I made a few new ones. :-)
Tomorrow Joanna and I are going to buy DDR! I'm *SO* excited, you guys don't even know. lol, it will be my release :-D I lose pounds off of this thing!! I can't wait to have it :-D EEK!
Tom and I watched Crash tonight and I found the movie to be really disturbing. Maybe that's why I'm wide awake...it's all about racial interaction and how everyone can easily misinterpret each other and react poorly to misperceptions...I understood the underlying thought and the bottom line of the movie, but it made me angry because a lot of the scenarios were far-fetched and just...overwhelmingly BIZZARE (does that make sense?) i didn't care to watch it in the first place, but joanna wanted to watch it and i was just doing my 1000 piece Mickey Mouse puzzle and fell into watching it too. meh? :-P
I've concluded that I smoke too much. :-( That's not good...I must decrease.
I don't really drink though, that's good. lol my girls said that ever since my birthday I'm not really fun anymore because I'm no longer down to get crunked w/them....lol, once they hit the big 2-1 they'll understand why. :-P brrrrrrrrr, i still shiver at the memories...from what I can still gather about that week, anyway. ;-)
i miss Sidsel, my old roommate last year from Denmark. I met a lot of norwegians the other night and i just kept thinking "wahhh, sidsel! :-(" i hope all is well with her, and i *really* hope i get to see her sometime soon

i'm really excited for the upcoming weeks :-) my friends from home are coming to visit for the first time! Ish like, "WHOA!" i'm so excited :-) FINALLY get to have one-on-one time w/josh rather than our one hour brief "catch up" times whenever I come home. :-( real genuine time w/my joshy-poo, i can't wait!! :-D and then my other high school homie melissa is coming up with her friend the following week and i get to have dinner with her for the first time in forever and catch up....whee! and then HUONG's coming and then CUONG's coming!!!! aaaaaaaaaaah the fun never ends :-D
lol, i never realized until a few months back that I play hostess a lot :-D i think that's awesome...it gets tiring, but to know my friends are having a good time and they keep coming back coz' we enjoy each other's company...shooots, it puts a smile on my face! :-) and they're not just "accquaintances" and me throwing "house parties" or whatever...it's always my genuine homeslices! and i'm blessed to have lots of 'em. :-) Y'all make my day. :-)
