Somerville artists -- looking for a place to show for SOS?
This year for SOS I'm taking my own advice* and exhibiting outside, either in my driveway or on my back porch. Which led me to think: hey, we have room for a few more in said driveway! If you'd be interested in setting up a pitch at my place, let me know!
Caveats: You'd have to bring your own table and whatever you need to display your art, as there won't be wall space to hang things on. There's room for a standard pop-up canopy tent (like, 9x9 or 10x10) at the front of the driveway or in the backyard, but the driveway in between is narrower and any shade structure there would have to have a smaller footprint. You'd also have to pack up and store your things somewhere for Saturday night.
Benefits: You get to display with at least one other artist, and locations with multiple artists tend to draw more people. You'd also have a spot very near the Armory.
