Red Sun Press, a 35 year old worker cooperative printing and graphic design company, is looking for a Front End coordinator. This is a terrific opportunity to work with a broad variety of social change organizations that comprise the Red Sun Press customer pool.
Duties include coordinating the customer service and sales team, developing marketing strategies, analyzing sales and making reports to the Board, working with other managers on budgets and setting sales goals. Duties also include providing customer support for ongoing offset and digital accounts, managing jobs in the shop, and estimating job costs. The coordinator will also work with the cooperative in the internal development of Red Sun Press.
Candidates must have relevant work experience. We are looking for candidates who are familiar with the movement for social change and can articulate Red Sun's unique mission to customers.
Additional Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and people skills, entrepreneurial spirit, familiarity with standard computer design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Microsoft Publisher), and comfort with math. Attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task. Knowledge of offset printing, web design and on-line communication a plus.
