Hey, the
Twilight Covening clans are up! (Many thanks to
dancingwolfgrrl for the heads up!)
Chrysalis -- Ooo, a clan dedicated to labyrinth work! It's like it was made for me. It's being run by the people I took Wolf with, which is good in that I enjoyed working with them, but perhaps bad in that it closes the door to working with someone new. The big problem, though, is that it's a shared-cabin clan. Sharing a (cold) cabin with eight to ten strangers makes the whole weekend much more challenging for me. This clan would probably be a shoo-in for my first choice if it weren't for that.
Fox --
aroraborealis' description of taking this clan was a big impetus for me to start going to TC. It hasn't been offered in the three years I've been going. Very tempting! On the other hand, perhaps knowing what's (maybe) going to happen before going in will reduce its impact?
Gryphon -- Ah, the kinky clan. I've heard good things about it, and it's mildly intriguing, but not something I would do without a partner there.
Moth -- Reading the description, this one seemed like the sleeper hit. Then I saw that it's also a sleep-together clan. Hitting the snooze button...
Salamander -- I find myself wanting to hear more.
Screech Owl -- This was the clan that I was thinking I would do next at the end of TC last year. I've been gradually working on overcoming my fear of singing in public, and it seems like I am far enough along that road for a singing-focused clan to be helpful in taking the next steps. This is currently #1 on the list, although it could be knocked off.
Speaking of TC, last year
redjo mentioned an idea she'd had about getting a group together to take one of the heated cabins (with indoor plumbing!) next to Bear Rock Lodge. I don't know if these are even reservable, but if they are, I am *so* there! Anyone else?
