Hm, yeah, with no electricity, that cuts out a lot of what we'd have here, like heart-rate monitors. They do mention the birthing bed -- maybe that's the sum total of their birthing equipment.
It's mentioned in the caption on the last photo that this center is now getting funding from a medical aid agency called Merlin. Hopefully this publicity will drum up more donations for them.
What they have for listening to the baby only takes a minute on one person, then a minute on another person (in real life, about 10-15 seconds).
What's kind of funny is the lady who doesn't get to use the bed is probably going to deliver in a more traditional, physiologic method (ie squatting) than the lady told to lie on her back on the bed.
