I was sent an advance copy of this to review several
months ago. I'm not reviewing it, but I did read it
and I do think it's surprisingly good.

Or to be more precise: It takes a disappointing
turn toward the infantile near the end, but the
first 80% is surprisingly good.

My dad sent me the pointer to the NYTimes story a few days ago. The reviewer says that the story takes some severe liberties with the facts, but still might be fun...
