A Landmark Now Gone
These photos were taken about a year and a half ago, I was on my way home from somewhere I don't go to very often, it was almost dark.... but I decided to pull into the parking lot to take some photos of a landmark that I remember since I was a kid. Of course it's been remodeled, probably a few times. Until now I guess I never really gave much thought about the sign on the front that said
"Since 1865"
It burned down yesterday.
I like things that preserve time, I think it's sad when old landmarks go away.
