Lovely Day
I often post when I've had a bad day that I thought I should post when I've had a particularly good day.
Just to make sure everyone understands that I'm not wallowing in misery. *g*
I got up early today, since I had a 9:00 meeting at New Work, but I got a call at 8 saying we're not ready for you, so Eric and I went off to the Farmer's Market.
The local market is great, and I decided to indulge, so we picked up fresh corn, fresh mushrooms, red onions and ripe peaches. We also indulged in some 'fresh' garlic. I know, weird idea isn't it, but it still had the green stalk attached.
Chopped up some of the garlic, onions and mushrooms and sauteed them, then threw some stakes in to the pan with them and made a quick pan sauce by adding some balsamic vinegar and had the steaks, corn and a salad for dinner, topped off with fresh sliced peaches topped with a sprinkling of nutmeg.
Oh, and I got 5 corsets trimmed and ready to go as well.
