Because... Why not?
1. Remember the scene with Molly Ringwald putting lipstick on by holding it in her cleavage? Name one really bizarre thing you know how to do. No matter how small.
Well, I can pick up a pencil with my toes, but I don't think that's too bizarre.
2. What's your favourite way to pass the time?
Reading and creating - sewing, writing or otherwise. There's a wonderful charge in creating.
3. What's your favourite restaurant and why?
Currently it's Truxton's in Westchester. But I'm still a big fan of China Grill in Manhattan Beach. Both of them serve great food made from fresh ingredients with a good friendly atmosphere and the menu is not too expensive.
4. Which TV/Radio show did you like that's not aired any more?
Josh Weadon shows: Buffy, Angel and Firefly, but especially Firefly since it didn't get a chance. I love the way he crafts universes and characters. Most of the other shows I liked that are off the air are ones that came to an end one way or another. Some 'Jumped the Shark' and others successfully avoided the shark tank, but I don't miss them too much. After all, most of them are out on DVD!
5. if you had a choice of learning another new language, what would you choose? what do you think that reflects about you?
I'm currently thinking about trying to learn French, because I'm interested in French Fashion just before the Revolution (1795 to be particular)and all the best resources are naturally in French, but if I could just wake up and know a language I'd love to know Japanese, since my niece is in a Japanese-immersion program in grade-school. (The kid could read silently at age 4 and needs to be challenged.)
