Those Gibberish Things Within Songs

Just found out about this amazing site: http://www.seeqpod.com/
It's basically a playable search engine. It almost has every song by every artist you could think of.

It's rare that I get giddy over something these days. But I find that I only need to hear some inspiring lyric for that zest for life comes back faster than one can say 'baduuuuy!!!'

So, indulge me as I share some incredibly cheesy lines within some songs I've been listening to. Real cheesy in fact, that I wish I wrote them (hehe.) Consider this a reminder of the power of lyrics, you Ipod-toting degenerate

Make your own if you wish, if that would make you actually savor the lyrics of that song you're humming.

Release Me
by Mae

We should take down the curtains now
And make blankets here on the floor
The torrential downpour, the potential for more

I seize to fight this tension that ignites us in the dark
Because tension causes friction and this friction leads to sparks

The rain has filled this cup and before it overflows
I wanna take you in now, here it goes

Mojo Pin
by Jeff Buckley

I'm lying in my bed, the blanket is warm
This body will never be safe from harm
Still feel your hair, black ribbons of coal
Touch my skin to keep me whole

Delicate
by Damien Rice

We might kiss when we are alone
When nobody's watching
We might take it home
We might make out when nobody's there
It's not that we're scared
It's just that it's delicate

Drive
by Funeral For A Friend

And I wish it was sweeter, the taste of your mouth
Because right now, it hurts too much to be closer than this
And with one hard look I can tell
That you've had enough of these useless sunsets

Sick of Myself
by Matthew Sweet

Im sick of myself when I look at you
Something is beautiful and true
In a world thats ugly and a lie
Its hard to even want to try
And Im beginning to think baby you dont know

Erase It Again
by Sparta

Erase and start it again
Accidents happen
But these cuts don't scar
Erase and start it again
Mistakes dig in
And you've gone too far
