Starting Over, Overcrowded Buses, Busted By Nerds

Dec 13, 2007 18:04

Gigging at Malate this Saturday, December 15. It's a production we've never heard of and with bands we've never played with before. It's a perfect slate to start over again with. We're going to play the same old songs, except for a few tweaks here and there. What I'm actually excited about are the new songs. We tried one at the previous jam session. I'm amazed at how fast we got it done! I think you'll be seeing more of us in 2008 (this is your cue then to start inviting us to play in your production, in case you miss the thingy between the lines.)

Working in mainstream radio is a lot like riding a bus full of people where you're forced to stand in the aisle, and every time someone gets off (gets off, hah!), your behind brushes someone else's front, uhm, pocket. You clinch your glutes to make valuable space between you and that passenger, hopefully sparing you that sensation.

In case you're wondering, there's your answer.

Geeks and nerds are so last year. But what the heck, I love living in the past. Here's one to fellow nerds.

Merry Christmas!
