Happy birthday
Wow its been too long since I've updated!
1st off Happy belated to Ms Steph!
Happy birthday to Danny. Today he turns 27. Wooooah, boy are we getting up there!
We got awesome tix for the Cubs game today. So watch for us by the 1st base visitor bullpen. We will be sitting 1st row for the 1st time. Yay! I'm gunna try and make a sign. I just have to think of something to say. Game is at 7:05 against the Toronto Blue Jays. I'm excited!
I hope he didn't find his bday present stash. I went to wrap today and the bags were all messed up. Oh wellz.
I also get my hair cut tomorrow at 10 am. I finally get to donate it to Locks of Love and chop it off! Thank God.....it was starting to annoy the hell outta me. Wooo hooo.
My parents came home last night from being in AZ for 2 weeks. It was nice to have to house to myself for a while even though I was working alot.
I had a busy weekend last weekend. It was nice to get to get out. Friday went out to eat at Champs for Stephs birthday. It was nice to see everyone and the food was good. We then came back here to wait for Mel to get into town. Mel stayed by Steph that night. We had to wake up early the next day for the Cubs game.
We were supposed to wake up early anywayz. Mel, Steph, Daveon and Mya met me here and we drove by Dannys. We wanted to leave around 8:30 or so cuz the box office opened at 9. Well, we didn't leave till after 10 I beilive. Danny dropped me, Mel, and Mya off at the box office while him, Daveon and Steph went to park the cars at Sports Authority. We can do that cuz we're cool. So anyways, got there and they only had the $40 seats. We didn't want to pay that so the guy told us to check back in a lil bit. So we stood there and listened to Myas phone, the peanut man and his song and saw some guys tryin to sell tix get busted. We met up with everyone and then Steph and Mel checked for a 3rd time around 11:30 and they finally released some bleachers. So we grabbed those and headed in only to find no seats. LOL....ya oh well, we ended up standing in left field against the fence. The game wasn't that long so it wasn't that bad. Anyways.....D. Lee's 1st hit was a homer right over our Dannys freakin head. It was too funny. I know we had to be on tv. Stephs mom called her and told her she saw her. On the video clip I did it in slow motion and saw Danny twice. LOL....it was great! They ended up winning 5-1. Wooo hoo.
After the game Danny wanted to swing by this basketball court that he used to play at. So we messed around for a lil bit shooting around. Then we were talking about how I never had Thai food before. Steph said that we must go eat at Siam cuz it was sooo goood. I didn't really care for the chicken satay I got.....but the chicken fried rice was good. Then we came home had a nap and then went by Bee and Brads for a lil bit. Lisa climed in the ice cream truck......that Choclate Ecliar was good.
Sunday I was supposed to be off but I went in to help put up the ad since it was Teresa's last one. Came back and took a nap while watching the Cubs game. That night we met here to go out. Ended up going to Bar Chicago. It wasn't a great night for me. But dancing across the bar in a canga line was an experience. Mel spent the night here. Had a nice talk before we went to sleep.
Memorial day was chill. Danny went home to put the basketball system together. Mel and I went to eat some Micky D's and then get a manicure/pedicure. She then had to head by her family's house cuz she had to see them before she left that night.
Over all it was a fun weekend.
Wednsday Danny took me to see the Longest Yard. It was gooood. I liked it. But then again.....I like anything with Adam Sandler.
Then Thursday I had a nice dinner with Sadia, Shilpa, Rachel and Mary at Cheesecake Factory. It was soooo good to see you guys. It had been WAYYY to long! Learned some intresting things and had some nice laughs. We def have to do that again!
Kara we missed you last weekend. Sorry you couldn't make it out here.
