I used Credo (used to be Working Assets) for about 15 years, until I moved to Canada. In all that time, I had 3 problems and they were all resolved with 1 phone call each, in ten minutes or less. I wish they served Canada; I'd still be signed on.
Now that jerk Beck is attacking Credo -- probably because they give 10% of their profits to social justice, the environment, and other sane purposes. And most other phone systems... don't. Most of the others are pouring money into the pockets of right-wing neocons.
I got this letter today and wished, again that my phone bills were doing something useful. If you've been thinking of changing cell providers, CREDO has my unsolicited and wholehearted approval.

In January, the rightwing Supreme Court allowed corporations to spend unlimited amounts to buy Congress. This fall, big corporations laundered millions through secret "super-pacs" to elect Republicans.
With Republicans in charge of the House, we cannot pass a Constitutional Amendment to overturn the Supreme Court's outrageous ruling. Instead, we have to use our consumer spending power to fight corporations that support Republicans - including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile.
If you use one of those companies, now is the perfect time consider switching to our great progressive friends at CREDO Mobile - the company Glenn Beck calls "evil."
If you've been looking for an Android smartphone, CREDO features the Samsung Transform and Sanyo Zio

Glenn Beck recently called CREDO "spooky evil dudes" because of our activism and donations to progressive nonprofits. We must be doing something right to make Beck's blackboard. How about your phone company?
• If you're with AT&T, you should know that they were named the top contributor to members of the House Tea Party Caucus earlier this year by the Center for Responsive Politics.1
• If you're with Verizon Wireless, keep in mind that they recently contributed to Senator Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), who has called for the death penalty for doctors who provide abortions.2
• If you're with T-Mobile, you should know that since 2008, they've repeatedly donated to Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio), who has vowed to repeal health care reform in the new Congress.3
You don't have to give your money to a phone company that contributes to right-wing politicians. You have a choice, and that choice matters.
