pisser of a day
so i scurried home after my pisser of a day.
best friend had her second child. and her husband is treating her bad. moved to mongolia, married a mongolian, came back and was lost from there. very surreal.
got changed. wore my fun new hoodie-slash-tank top, and a black skirt with sandals. took my mom shopping for the dog that just gave her hives dreaming about it. literally. the petsmart in santee. and as my eyes peruse over the stainless steel doggie dishes, i hear a splash. "Oh no i did not just step in that." and that phrase sounded like one long monosyllabic word. ran to the bathroom to stick my foot and sandal in the sink. dog pee in petsmart. should have seen that one coming.
we finished up the day at the olive garden. my mom listened to me. like she always does. and she wishes i could get people in my life who don't need fixing. and then, she proceeds to scratch her hives, and asks me if i can rub calamine lotion on her after she takes an oatmeal bath. oh, the things we do for those we love.
