october/november has been a whirlwind
october:
consisted of a trip to portland, oregon. one of my favorite places in the world. stayed at the ace hotel. drank stumptown. went to my friend kate's wedding. fell in love with fall colors. watched the AIDS walk. drank wine and talked about saw playing. went to mary's with dave. wondered if i could ever move there.
november:
went to milwaukee. ate fish fry. visited family who still want me to return after 18 odd years. listened to my bloody valentine in a bowling alley with 3 bars. saw my childhood home and cried. saw my aunt falling apart. wondered how i could ever return.
