great week
This week has been really great. Lots of good things have happened.
I've actually gotten to see Joe! That's easily one of the best things. I miss him since our schedules are so different, so this has been really nice. I completely adore him and am so glad he's my BFFI. HE said the best thing to me last night. He says in a very serious voice "Delaney you need to stop being so sexy." I said in a sad voice "Awww! Do I have to!" Then his face lit up and he smiled and said "NO!!" It was such a Joe moment. One of those times that reminds me why i love him so much.
I'm getting really excited for Mary's wedding. It's just around the corner. I have everything I need for it. I've taken off from my weekend job for a couple of weeks so I can get ready. I don't have to worry about not having time to pack and silly things like that. I can't wait to go to the Mother Country! I know it's going to be a whirl wind trip, but I'll pack in as much as I possibly can!!
Several times this weekend mom and I had "I wish Liz were here" moments. It's those moments where we looked at each other and said "Liz would know what to do." It was nice, if not a little sad. But she's my superhero out there saving India, so I'm never sad for long.
I've been going out a lot more and have had a great time every time I've gone out. I'm totally diggin' that, because it's not often you can ALWAYS have a great time. I've gotten to see Joey and that's been a real treat. He's looking great and his life is really good. It's so refreshing to have one of your friend's lives go really well. Emily is also looking wonderful! She's lost something crazy like 24 pounds and is even more sexy that ever. Like that was even possible! I got to see Lisa & Brehn on Friday night and only WISH I could have talked to them more!
The more I'm around Pat & Peggy the more I like them. I've also gotten to be around their friend Lance more, and I'm completely crazy for him. He is hysterical. We play this game where we try to get the other one to look at whatever couple is making out on the dance floor or the really bad dancer. It's kinda like a warped version of "made you look". We have this really funny idea for a photo shoot, but we'll see if it actually happens. It's going to be tough to get all of us together with Walker on the same day.
I'm really starting to fall in love with my "every-other-Friday" group. Well not the whole group. There's a couple of skanks and a couple of douchebags, but you can't help who other people have as friends. But there's about 6 or so people who are really great. There's a couple of guys who have been super awesome-o to me without being gross or creepy. That's ALWAYS appreciated!
What else... Friday I got to see Centro-matic and Jason Isbell. That was really nice. I was able to get a new Carlton Chronicles. It's a CD filled with kitty songs! I played my last one so much I wore it out. I love my kitty songs!
I know there are more wonderful and fantastic things that happened, but I can't even think of them all.
