What a cute day i had yesterday!! Woke a little bit late cuz of my night shift, but it's all good...Liz and I were both late in meeting each other anyway, hahaha...Drove to Kareline's [she was a little bit freaked cuz we were the only ones they were waiting for to start the ceremony! woops...] Why is it that every single asian family has a funny old relative they make as a host..."snowball!" weh heh! But even cambodians have one...this guy kept saying everything was beautiful..."We are here on this beautiful day, in this beautiful house to witness the engagement of the beautiful kareline and the beautiful michael in the presence of their beautiful parents surrounded by beautiful fruits" [in a REALLY fobby cambodian accent!] Then he starts handing out plates and he stops in front of me and liz and starts talking about how cambodians, laos, chinese and filipinos are all related! "Yes, i know history!" he says...hahahaha...oookk...
It was so sweet...kare and michael gave little speeches to the guests and they BOTH started tearing up...aawww! Imagine this rough and tough black guy starting to tear after talking about all the things he and kare had to go through to get to this day...everyone started crying...especially me considering i've been through it all with them...Imagine, 10yrs of being together...DAMN! I'm hella proud their still together...even HE got an engagement ring from kareline!
Now that THAT'S done, we have to start planning the BABY SHOWER!! aaahhh...like i've said before, i have like EIGHT different showers to go to in the next TWO months! That's crazy planning and MONEY! So me and 3 other people are gonna start planning this thing for july cuz that's the only month i'll be in T.O. long enough to plan...I already have bangin ideas!! aaaww...Imma give her the best baby shower EVER!
