That sounds great to me!

Some other ideas:

(1) SGA: John/Rodney ruled my world for several years. I'd be happy to see a new story about them -- the only quirk is that for some reason, I'm only interested in reading stories set after the series right now.

(2) DC: I loved the JL/JLU series, and that's the version of canon that I'm most familiar with. I love J'onn J'onzz, and I love, love, LOVE Hawkgirl. I like her together with Green Lantern, but I'd also be happy with something just focused on her as a character. I also really enjoyed the episode "Hereafter", and something slashy with Superman and Vandal Savage set during that episode might be intriguing.

(3) Firefly: So... I sort of ship River/Mal. ::facepalm:: I know it's weird and kind of wrong. And Mal knows it's weird and kind of wrong, which is a big part of what I like about the pairing -- I'm a sucker for stories where someone falls in love against their better judgment. (In fact, I'm a sucker for love stories across an age divide or power imbalance in general, as long as it's the younger/less powerful person who's the driving force behind initiating the relationship.)

And I can keep generating ideas, if this doesn't give you something you can work with....

I'll keep your back-ups in mind, and all of those are doable. Awesome!

(I have some major health issues, and I am working full time because it's still the best for my mental health, but it does mean I'm slower than I used to be. I appreciate your patience!)

OMG, are they available online anywhere right now? I do remember reading just a couple of River/Mal stories that I liked right after Serenity came out, and for all I know they may have been yours -- I'm terrible with putting author names to stories until I've seen them multiple times, and I didn't really become familiar with your work until well into the run of SGA.

Don't worry about how long it takes to get the fic done -- I once took two years to write someone's story for a Sweet Charity auction, so I have no right to ever criticize on that score!

BTW, did my donation confirmation email ever turn up, or should I re-send?
