this is excellent - it's grim (but so was the season) and you did a great job with Castiel and Sam. I'm awfully glad you finished it

Vivid horror and a strong undercurrent of hopelessness: exactly how SPN should be. *g* Especially in your lyrical writing, with your very good take on Sam and Castiel.

I love the gritty details of this and the interaction between the three of them. Dean's implied 'you coming' so perfectly in Character.
