Stupidity R Us
Took me two months, but I finally realized that all lj notifications, including notifications of replies to my comments, were going to my old yahoo e-mail. And of course, Barnes and Nobles is still sending newsletters to my yahoo mail along with my gmail account. D:
*Must make time to watch Britain's Got Talent First semi-final. Course, I know who won that round, but the first semi-final had pretty strong acts.
Also, the California Supreme Court ruled that Prop 8 would be upheld. I wasn't too surprised. They were judging whether the way Prop 8 was legally passed (and it was), not whether Prop 8's ban of same sex marriage was constitutional or not. Still, a part of me was hoping that somehow, by some miracle, they'd announce Prop 8 was unconstitutional, and there was no point arguing whether it became law legally or not because the law itself was wrong.
I'm a little ashamed to see other states allow same-sex marriage, and California making such an uproar over it. I know there are other factors for why this is so, but still....
