'Aint no Mountian High!

I went to the Duniway Art Show. It was "soooo exciting!" All the Duniway moms, and all the giddy children. I ended up playing back round music on the piano, like old times. When I first sat down there was a little Asian girl, about three years old, that was playing with the keys. I asked her politely if I could play her piano, and she smiled and said NO! I scooted over and played through a portion of my repetua, with added "wrong" notes shinning through on the top half of the piano as she pretended to play like I did, throwing her hands tastefully on random keys. It was fun. Being young again. People enjoyed it too, "Oh, you're one of the Long's, arn't you? Alway so talented!" It's nice being on lived turf where you're remembered for how you were. "The little one with nimble fingers."
On the way home, my dad and I sat in the silence of the rolled down windows of his Ford Pick-Up truck and the loved tunes of the oldies. The song, "Aint no Mountain High..." comes on, and we turn up the music and sing along. (Actually, I sang along, and my dad attempted to know the tune.....) When we were at a stop light, the car next to us had some crap blaring out of their poopy speakers, so my dad cranks up the volume on our radio, and over powers their sound, making them look over, only long enough for my dad to flip em off and peel away at the green light!!! Who knows what he was thinking!! Oh well, it was really funny, and fun.

The last episode of friends was good...and the one of the OC was way to cliff hangy. (For all those who don't know, I'm not obsessed with that show. I've only seen it one other time, and knowing that Wed. night was the last, I decided to view the "new drama" series once again.)
