oh by weeding i mean that i periodically go through my f-list and block accounts on it of people who don't seem to be active.

i personally don't consider folks who never make contact to be "friends" ;-D

Oh I see. I try to be as active as possible and if by any chance I go inactive for a while I do post about it.

I feel the same way. I hate it when people don't interact and comment on my stories :(

as much as i crave fic feedback and want to interact with folks through general entries, i know people are busy, or feel more connected with other members of the comm and that's okay.

it's kind of a presence thing. if i see someone's name around, even if they haven't posted much on my journal, then they are generally safe.

and yes, i hope we shall be friendly :D
