Update
So, I'm back at Tulane, going to Biochemistry and living in a huge house with only two housemates (thanks to Road Home, rent is only $305 + utilities). There was a bed, dresser, and rug already here and I bought a small folding stool-chair from Wal-Mart and a TV dinner tray to function as a little desk. We don't bother to turn on the heat since it'll be nearly $100 to heat this huge drafty old house for a week. Needless to say, it was MISERABLE my first night here b/c it was in the 40s and I only have a thin comforter. I found out tonight was going to be 20s and just bought a space heater with my Walgreen's gift card: total paid = 59 cents :-). But I like it here and my housemates are totally awesome. The walk to school is a bit long (~20min) so I'll be getting exercise Tue, Thu, and doing Pilates or yoga Mon, Wed, Fri.
