Last week I had the best St. Francisville trip EVER!

The Trip - I drove my mom's car up to BR to take the GRE at 12:30p on Wednesday (verbal 530 *tears*, but quantitative 690 *beast mode!*) and then me and Amber headed up to St. F. We went straight to Andw's house, met some crew, Andw was making crack cookies, so we jetted out to look at some townscape. Drove by Mafo's house and tried to find the stairway, but wound up at "Oh no KITTIES! ...HONK!" area (saw another cat there too). We came out by Momma Kim's old house where Hams passed us by, so we followed him to practice.

The Town - I introduced Amber to everybody and she went at it, just talking to folk while I was changing Hami's RAZR faceplate. After I ran into Laurie Hayes and Chase Danna, I went to snuggle my Twin Brother (yay Mafo-kins!). Then some fool said MacBeth in the theater, effectively killing the power for the entire town. I persevered though, invoked MacDuff's name, got some blue tattoos painted on to be a guinea pig for Andw, went to talk with Amber and Lari out on the train. When I was almost sad because they wouldn't get to do the show, the lights came back on! It was 7:33pm, only 3 minutes late, so they filed everyone in and the show was go!

The Play - It was AWESOME, loved the actors (especially Grandpa's eyebrows), loved the script. The decorations were pretty damn nifty and Andw said people just kept dropping off random-ass stuff - African masks, abstract art, painted skulls, etc etc. I contributed an Erector set for a tiny boat off eBay so I was in the Thank Yous! *squee!* Lifetime goal = ACHIEVED! I was worried that I would never get to help in a production... well, I suppose I did with Alphabet Backwards, between mounting spotlights and bringing fruit and lighting those damn candles and torches. But this time I was early enough to get in print! There were crazy fireworks and funny lines - all the marks of a great play.

Afterparty at Birdman - Got a Cookies and Cream, then killed them hoes at Apples 2 Apples, and I wasn't even there for half the game cos I was taking Mafo home - Word. Momma J make some crazy good cookies, mmmm. TB gave me my postcard with typical Mafoic writings on the back. Went back to wrap up the party and bring Lari back to her car, brought Chase home, then went to Andw's for the bed down. Stayed up til 3am talking with Andw and Lari, while Robi brought Amber back to BR (he COULD'VE told me he wasn't going back to BR, I woulda asked Hams, since he WAS, but he said it was ok). Andw gave me all kinds of awesome stuff that he was clearing off his bed - Japanese monies! Japanese books! Other books! A tunic/nightgown thing! Much love to 'Ni! I slept in the bed in Andw's room, with Andw on one side and Robi on the other, and Lari slept in Mandy's old room.

Breakfast at Birdman - I was sick as hell, but dem pieces of waffle Laurie was passing me was good. Rebecca is cool folks! Three hour breakfast is maybe not so cool when ill, because you get hungry but then you can't really eat. ALAS. Mafo was at work, but he invited me to The Myrtles for a free tour b/c he is awesome like that. Back to sleep at Andw's until 2p. SLEEP of the DEAD.

The Myrtles - damn, awesome. Doesn't seem haunted at all or maybe the ghosts weren't up yet? Gift store was cool - I got a little flower bracelet for me and a postcard and some drink recipe playing cards for Noo-Noo. Robi hooked me up with a discount *love* No one was ready for the 2p tour, so I drove Mafo home for lunch while we waited for more guests. Reheated Whole Foods pizza and mo' Momma J cookies to the tune of Mafo gettin' a lil sick. I finally managed to convince him to not eat another and sit on the floor so it would be harder to get them, when Momma J walks in to get one, stuffs a half of her cookie in Mafo's mouth, and walks back out. SO CLOSE TO ABSTINENCE, NOOOO. Went back for the 3p tour and Robi gave it hilariously. He was cracking these teenage girls up. Very pretty house, lots of deaths, but cool.

Leaving - Dad called, yelling about me getting home (grrr), so I reluctantly left my wonderful stay. *sighs*

It was so awesome though! I will try to come back again at a time when there are few people, because that was cool! I haven't been that relaxed and peaceful in St. Francisville in a while and it was just what I needed :-)
