So we were all expecting change right? Then why am I seeing a continuation of the Clinton era. Granted I do not know the qualifications of many of these people, all I have seen when each cabinet member is announced is "served in Clinton administration/appointed by Clinton." Not a good sign. I would say they should have campaigned against a third term for Clinton but that would probably have been met with applause. Everyone seems to have a sugar coated memory of him. Honestly he was no where near the smartest president the United States has had and his foreign policy was a joke, which is why I am not thrilled about his wife being named Secretary of State. What qualifications does she have for the job, there were plenty of better qualified Democrats, Republicans and probably independents as well who would have made better choices.
Adding to the celebration our Governor will be leaving us in the middle of her term to accept the position of Secretary of Homeland Security. This is not that uncommon so that does not shock me, what makes me upset is the fact that she is leaving Arizona in a financial mess. I hope Jan Brewer can help the state out, although I doubt anybody knows what her plans are, let alone her qualifications.
