Ex and I are doing well in training so much as the lead instructor called me later on the first day to tell me he was impressed. Ex also had no problem putting his nose on the lab created odor after only having worked actual explosives. He is now even imprinted on TATP which isn't easy to get ahold of to work with.. Next we I was told I was going to be going to OCAT (oc spray) and PATH (handcuffing) instructor school. It will look good on my resume. Back to training, I am making some pretty good contacts and I am helping some of the newer guys that have never been through K-9 training. It is kind of neat to be considered a veteran handler. Well I need to shower and get to bed. Got an early start tomorrow.
