mywitch who?
bless you!
not bad for a parking lot sunset, eh? :D
Besties! How are you all? I have missed LJ and DW so much. I'd love to be here more but there is a weird amount of stuff going on with me and the world around me. (I've even had to quit playing my favorite procrastination video game, boooooo.)
I am trying to love Arizona. Here are some things I love about it so far.
1. The sky is huge...
...and the clouds are tremendously interesting!
huge storm incoming!

There is one that looks like a fat little pegasus :D

2. Winter here is lovely. Everyone around me is freezing but I find it perfect. Hello 72 degrees! YESSS. Any of you snowed-in people should really check it out sometime :D
3. Since I have been here I have seen more of my family than usual. It is definitely challenging at times, but overall I am happy to see them.
Bro6 was here when I arrived, as was McG. It's his house and McG and I live here. Bro5 showed up in January, frozen out of Minnesota. He's fun to have around. He is in Mexico now with Bro6. Sis1 and her handsome husband (omg he is 77 and I am still crushing on him lol) came out from Minnesota in their Very Nice trailer. (Now that I have a trailer I appreciate theirs a LOT more, lol)
Sis1 and McG are both wood carvers and they always go to the big wood carving show here in February. They were only here for a few days.

While Bro5 was still in AZ, Bro6 came up from Mexico and they helped McG put together a cat house I got for my boys. It's behind my glamorous trailer in Maricopa and I love it. They all had a lot of fun doing it, so that's a win. I wouldn't have been able to myself.

Bro6 went back to Mexico and McG asked Bro5 if he would teach her how to build a deck. So they decided they would build one for me. My family is all about building me decks. Haha, I can't complain. Anyway, I watched and fetched cold water and all that but I don't think I'd be able to do it. I am not great with spatial stuff and I get it all confused in my head. Maybe that's why I like drawing - I can keep it all contained in a flat surface!
Day one they planned it out and put in cement for the posts to rest on and got the frame mostly together. Day two was putting in all the support boards and Bro5 threw together some steps out of whatever was around. Bro5 went off to Mexico and McG finished up screwing in most of the top boards. It is so nice I love it so much!

Then the bros went to Mexico and Sis2 and Sis3 showed up, also fleeing Minnesota's cold.
Sis2 is the one with Alzheimer's but she is still delightfully silly and fun to hang out with. I don't mind the repeated stories, it comes with the territory when you have 6 older bothers brothers. oops. 🤣
They came out to the Ranch and I Tom Sawyered them into thinking it is fun to prune the palo verde trees. Truthfully it is pretty fun. They worked on 2 of them and got them looking pretty great! Only eleventy million left to do!
McG and they left for Mexico this morning so my pets and I have free run of the house for a couple days, woohoo! The cats are still to shy to come out of the bedroom. They don't believe me when I tell them that the Scary Dog isn't here. :(
Okay I gotta wrap it up here but I'll be back as soon as I can!

oh - one more thing I love - When it rains here IT RAINS :D
