Hoggywarty Recs :D
Hello!
I have caught up on all the amazing stuff at hoggywartyxmas and thought I'd share a couple of recs. Honestly, everything was fantastic this year and the biggest rec I have is to check out EVERYTHING :D That said, my rec list is as long as my leg, so I will mention just a few and hopefully they will encourage y'all to check out the rest!
FIRST, thank you so very much to pyttan for their awesome gift to me: Great Minds Think Alike - starring Filius Flitwick, Minerva McGonagall and one of the best iterations of Irma Prince ever! She is an utter badass and the only one who can handle the wild books in the Hogwarts Library! A fun story of friendship, cleverness and shenanigans. :D
I absolutely loved The Eyes Have it by lash_larue. This beautifully written, wonderful story shows Sybill Trelawney as her witty, clever and interesting self in a friendship with an equally intriguing Garrick Ollivander. I do so love seeing the misfits of HP getting their day in the sun.
This gem from eldritcher blew my mind. Lovely, poetic and sexy: Earth is the Right Place for Love. I mean, who wouldn't love a Severus/Rosmerta/Minerva sandwich? nom nom nom
And finally, Rest With Your Dream in My Dream by squibstress. Amazing fic with Minerva, Severus and a bit of Destiny. I really had no words in the comment I left on the story and all I've come up with since then is READ THIS IMMEDIATELY! :D
Again, all the fics and art were so wonderful, as they always are in this fest. Do yourself a favor and spend some time over there. I know the party is officially over but I imagine that the usual suspects are still hanging about with a fresh pot of tea and would love to see you. :D
