I promise you will not regret reading Inkstains. There are several other stories that are "part of this universe," but you will not have to read them to enjoy her story. Zig's world building is amazing! 💗💗💗

OMG this is AMAZING. I love love love LOVE it so much! They look so innocent, bwahahahah! #1, I love the pencil/ink sketch feel of this, it seats it so comfortably with the other (absolutely brilliant) illustrations you've created for Inkstains. #2, you do such amazing things with characterization in your art. I think you absolutely don't need to have read my story to understand the found-family relationships in this scene, or to know these characters -- it's right there in the way you've illustrated them. (I love Severus' little half-smile, like he's pretending to just-barely tolerate these idiots, but you know he cares about them on more levels than he's willing to admit to himself). #3, Can I just enthuse over Val's shoe collection? I love how you draw him with the most amazing shoes. I didn't even tell you what he's wearing, but it's this. Definitely it's this, because those shoes are superb. That rum bottle, btw, is actually EXACTLY the level I was imagining for this moment in the fic, tho
