LOL, awww, poor Ron! He doesn't have much leverage when it comes to his dad being a big bad scary dude. :) But I say he's the bravest of them all - not anyone would have the guts to marry Molly, a certified dark witch killer with a dragon roar, LOL! :)
This is charming and hilarious. I'm so fond of your Ron. Eating right through the first three panels. LOL. I can't decide which I like best, the banana, the sandwich or the chocolate frog.
Draco, Colin and Mr Filch (and a docile Mrs Norris) are fun, too.
Poor Mr Weasley. Good-natured people are always underestimated.

They so ARE! But WE appreciate them! The Weasleys were pure-bloods, so they could have sat out the war. The Weasleys were raising SEVEN children on very little money, so they could justly claim that their plate was already full; they were already busy. Instead they took in both Harry AND Hermione and treated them like children numbers eight and nine. The joined the Order of the Phoenix and fought to defend wizarding Britain from tyranny and evil. They kept a light shining in the darkness, demonstrating every single day what it means to be kind and generous and loving. There was a lot of grimness during the war, as there had to be, a lot of unpleasant duties. But the Weasleys were like the pilot light of real life, reminding people about home and family and kindness and love. Good food, clean sheets, kind fellowship -- really, I love the Weasleys, and it seems like hardly anyone in HP fandom really appreciates them.
I, for one, am a card-carrying member of the Weasley family appreciation society. Maybe that's because I'm an only child but I find them appealing. Although I can see how in the hands of a good writer all that family togetherness ruled over by a howler-sending matriarch could also be turned into something quite nightmarish. I suppose it all depends. But my first instinct is to really like them.
Oh, I knew YOU appreciated the Weasleys; I started with agreeing with you, so I thought that was understood! I meant the fandom at large didn't appreciate them.
Yeah, but none of them have mentioned your MOTHER, Ron! Sirius Black couldn't kill Bellatrix LeStrange. Kingsley Shaklebolt couldn't kill Bellatrix LeStrange. But Molly Weasley, Molly fucking Weasley wiped the floor with Bellatrix LeStrange!! So someday you'll be able to go back to the bullies and tell them that your MOTHER can trounce the worst Death Eater of them all ... and their father, their kid brother, and their cat. :-)
Okay, your comic is cute, and as always, you did it well. I especially like the look on Filch's face. I just had to talk up the awesomeness that is Molly Weasley. :-)
