Turning Point Settings

Feb 04, 2015 22:31

I've been writing an Arashi fanfic series called "Turning Point".

Since I was afraid if I would write wrong and inconsistent image of the setting, I decided to use what I used to do to help.
I used to study architecture, and it's fun to play around designing a building.

Turning Point in the story is Jun and Aiba's coffee shop.
The coffee shop serves for hikers who take the alternative way towards a gorge, approximately 15 km away from his place.
It was an abandoned building before Jun bought it (for a very cheap price).

For now I am going to put only the sketch of the coffee shop.
I will update with other pictures later.

Turning Point Floor Plans

Just updated with the floor plans. The building has two floors; the lower one as coffee shop. It's not a very big shop, only 20 seats inside. In summer, when more people are taking a hike in this area, the wooden deck is turned into outdoor cafe, adding extra 12 seats. The upper floor is Jun and Masaki's living quarter. All rooms are western style with wooden flooring, only the middle room is using tatami flooring. The tatami room is used in case they have a guest sleeping over. You can access Jun's and Aiba's rooms from the tatami room. Jun sleeps on sofa bed. It has storage underneath. The building is located on a hill, overlooking the city center. If one looks to the front from this house, they will see Mount Fuji. The forest path is the one indicated with "to gorge". It ends in a local tourist (power) spot.
