[And where has Mark been this entire experiment, you ask? Locked in a corner of his new-found study in the house he shares with Norma and Grune. While he insisted on the same bed as Norma, he claimed one of the rooms as his study, and unpacked all his stuff there. He's been in here, hiding mostly. While he was fine for most of the experiment, at once point he found himself in the form of a folk deity that he had no desire to show anyone else, and so locked himself in here. As Norma was a child anyone and Grune is... Grune... no one noticed this.
Now, what he has been doing, under Raine's prompting, is slaving away at completely re-writing / revising the Guide for the New Feathers coming soon. While for the most part he's just copying what he wrote before, he has been adding at a lot too, and pouring over some notes on top of it. Additionally, he's been thinking about what he might do to make that dinner he discussed interesting.
The door's unlocked now, but he's face-first flat on his desk... sleeping.
And his journal is picking up and broadcasting his (light) snoring]
