End of a chapter.

The first picture that I took with my digital camera. I remember this day quite vividly. My mom and I were on Merivale Rd, and it was pouring like crazy. The roads were slightly flooded, leaving unavoidably massive puddles that Mario himself couldn't clear by jumping. After checking out a few cameras at Best Buy, I finally picked one, the Canon PowerShot A70, $499.99. After buying it and leaving a big chunk of money at the store, my mom and I crossed the street to Merivale Mall, where we had lunch at Subway. I was more interested in my new toy.

Once we got home, the first thing I did was call Prashanta, and walked over to his house. I showed him my camera. I remember him being surprised.

All my pictures from day one were resized in some program, probably the one that came with the camera. I learned quickly though, not to do that... because all my pictures from day two are at a full 3.2 megapixels.

As all my friends from high school will attest, I loved taking pictures. I still do. But entering the realm of digital photography changed how I view the world. I truly believe that cameras will continue to do that... just not my Canon A70, anymore.
