I decided to post the main thread here, since I'm not sure if it's allowed in
shirotaxaiba ^_^. I'll just link this to a post in the community.
Anyway, this is a fanfic or drabble challenge made to liven up the mood in the ShiroAi comm. It's pretty simple and low-pressure.
Here are the conditions of the game:
1. I will first include my own fic in this entry.
2. You have to select a word from my fic and use it as the prompt for your fic. The word you will choose must not be an actor name.
3. Write your fic as a comment to this entry. Don't forget to include this in the title: (Word Prompt) (Other Pairings Involved; if applicable) (Warning; if R, NC-17 or AU).
4. Another person will then choose a word from your fic or drabble. She will make it her word prompt for her fic which she will type as reply to your comment.
5. The drabbles need not be related to each other. You just have to reply to the fic if your word prompt was from there.
6. Even if someone else replied to a fic you want to choose a word from, you can still reply to it provided you chose another word.
* Fanart/Doodles are allowed. If it's too big, please just provide a link to it. If someone wants to follow your thread, they have to find a word in your art. Could be a part of a dialogue, a thing in the drawing, or their interpretation of the art ^^.
For examples, please refer to previous drabble/fic challenges
here (it's a Tenimyu AU challenge, though).
Readers can comment on any of the fics written. You just need to reply to the proper thread.
“So what are your favorite moments in Tenimyu?” the reporter asked them, not choosing someone in particular but pointedly staring at Shirota.
Shirota asked for a moment to think about it as the other members laughed and shared their own thoughts about their favorite moments in the musical. He recalled his cherished memories, not listening to his friends laugh at their own stories.
He remembered how he felt relieved everytime he sat down on Seigaku’s green bench. He was not that fond of dancing and he welcomed any opportunity to sit down and take a breather. He did not mind reciting his lines from that position, although sometimes he had a hard time fighting the temptation to joke around with Aiba and Adachi, who always sat beside him. It was one of the things Tezuka could never do.
He remembered how he strained so hard not to laugh when he heard Aiba snicker at Washimi’s way of dropping the racket. They both kept their head down and forced their shoulders to stop shaking as they stared at their shoelaces. Aiba had given him a gentle nudge to remind him of his role.
He remembered how Aiba seemed immersed in his words whenever he recited Tezuka’s lines. Sometimes, Fuji’s actor would nod in agreement or slightly smile. Shirota did not know if that smile was something Aiba had done as Fuji or something he had done spontaneously. Still, that little smile had always caused little butterflies to start fluttering in Shirota’s stomach.
He remembered how Aiba whisked Adachi’s hands away when Kikumaru’s actor was trying to get his attention to flirt on the bench. From the corner of his eye, Shirota saw Adachi pout and turn away, looking for someone to notice him, probably Zukki. Aiba then glanced at Shirota and nudged his shin carefully with his foot. Shirota ignored Aiba’s nudges, he could never carry on a bakground flirting scene without blushing at the young man, and Aiba would merely look stormy and coincidentally ready for his match with Takuya.
He faintly recalled (or so he thought) how nervous he felt during the Tezuka vs. Atobe scene, not because he was scared to forget his lines or blocking, but because he thought he saw Aiba shot dagger-like glares at Kazuki, even though they were supposed to be friends.
He remembered how warm Aiba felt when Shirota held him close just after curtain call. Aiba complained that they should not hug each other too much because he was sweaty but Shirota did not mind at all. Their little bickering about hugging carried on until the reach the dressing room, and Aiba gave him a little smile as they go their own ways home with their own group of friends.
“So, Shirota-san, are you read to answer my question?”
Shirota blinked. “Ah...well...the Tezuka x Atobe match, to be precise.” he quickly said without conviction, ignoring Aiba’s curious look.
The reporter jotted it down and turned to Aiba with a smile. “What about you, Aiba-san?”
Aiba gave the reporter a grin. “Oh well, I loved playing on the bench. With Shirota-san... and Adachin.”
The rest of the session was dedicated to Zukki and Kaji teasing Shirota about how red his face was.
Have fun ^_^.
