Short and sweet! I like the idea of their lives as personal wars that they can't comprehend fighting together, even if it might make it easier, and they could potentially have a greater impact. Thanks for thinking of this new twist on things. ^_^

That's one of the reasons I like drabbles: you can express a lot with very few words. My professors used to point out my verbosity, so my struggle is to choose each word I use with care. Thank you very much for the kind comment!
