Tinted lenses have been shown to help people with certain types of dyslexia. The color in the lenses helps seperate the black and white of a printed page and makes it more readable for people who have reading problems.
“John Lennon called,” Mohinder deadpans as he kisses Molly on the head. “He wants his sunglasses back.”
Love! Also:
“That’s because nobody else’s parents are as awesome as us,” Matt says, leaning in for another kiss from Mohinder.
So true! Molly is truly lucky. She just won't realize it until she's at least out of high school and it starts being cute "Aww, my parents are still in love!" and stops being "Eeewww."
I imagine Molly at 20 will find her parents really sweet and cute, because I can see them being kind of a cuddly older couple, lots of hands on backs and quiet teasing and the like. Molly at 10? Totally eeewww. I mean, they're her parents.
I envy her (and all adopted children whose parents have no biological children) in that she can blissfully pretend her parents have never had sex, whereas my parents think I'm their couples therapist. For every bottle of brain bleach Molly is spared using, I go through about five.
I'm now trying to decide if it's better or worse to have parents who can't biologically have children. Yeah, you can state plausible deniability, but then you'll have that moment where you realize they have sex for *fun*.
I'm still giggling over this story. Mm, but I love it! Matt is so sweet! Not many guys would be willing to wear pink glasses, even in their own home, because their little girl wants them to. And it's cute that Molly wanted to help him so much! <3 Thanks for sharing! <3
I sometimes wonder why nobody tells Matt about the whole color can make dyslexia better thing. I love that Molly observed and did something to make Matt try AND that he does so without complaint. :D
yay Mohinder cracking jokes at Matt's expense! :D
and the kissing to make Molly squirm is amusing and I love it. yay for cute happy domesticity!!

Is there a story behind the rose colored glasses? (Besides the idiom, that is.)

I love giving Mohinder a sense of humor. I think it gets lost sometimes in all the seriousness of the show.
Happy domesticity for the win!

Matt immediately tackles Mohinder so as to avoid having to help with math.
Also "All You Need is Love"? Wins :D
So squee-y cute!!! :D

Mohinder has a humor streak that gets buried under all the serious faces he has to make on the show. I like to bring it out.
