An actual conversation between my father and I;
Dad: So what do you want for Christmas?
Me: Well, I'm not quite sure. An iPod or maybe some money for clothes.
Dad: What's an iPod?
Me: It's an mp3 player.
Dad: What's an mp3?
Me: It's a computer file for a song.
Dad: That sounds stupid, why not just use a CD player?
And that's why I called my stepmom and told her what to get me for Xmas. I'm not really surprised he didn't know what an iPod was seeing as how he has never used a computer in his life. I still got a good chuckle out of it.
I got some of my Xmas gifts early. Allyssa bought me a hat,scarf and gloves set, an White Sox shot glass, and "Seven's Travels" by Atmosphere. Matt bought me a bowl. Why do people always buy me bowls for Xmas? I don't know.
The holiday party for my work is tonight. Free food and an open bar plus it's at a swank hotel.
I won't be able to make the Festivus show due to work and being fucking broke. Stupid Christmas has taken most of my money. Sorry mates.
We got our gas bill yesterday and it was $330. Goddamn, how did it get that high? This makes getting a corn stove would be even sweeter.
