I hope we can still be friends, dearest, dearest journal. I know it's been awhile and it always is.
I've been quite the busy lil lady the past few months. I went to NY for a few weeks to visit family and friends etc. It was fanfuckingtastic! It made me fall in love with brooklyn/nyc.. people singing impromptu a cappella on an old scary buidling's steps, live music in the park 's drained pool, coney island and it's questionable, yet beautiful beach, sitting in a fountain with dozens of people at washington square, feeling the years of my youth begging me to stay.
but, as they say... the grass is always greener on the other side.. however, i do live in the desert.. uhh.. so.. yeah.
i dropped off my resume at fender musical instruments corporation headquarters today. pretty sure i got the run-around by the receptionist.. but i gots connections on the inside.. so, im not toooo worried about it i guess. it would be bad assss if i got that job. until then i am still working at the mastering studio. it pretty much rules.
for whatever reason when i listen to this song by laura veirs, i fall in love. im sure that this song wasnt meant to evoke that feeling, but i can't help itttt. fall is the best time to hold hands. i feel like this fall is more so than any other. here's hoping...
