The following metaesque rant is the subjective opinionated opinion of Kit84 and Jynnxx, we have next to no interest in telling other people what to do or how to do it, this is how we do it and why. Questions, alternate opinions and discussion is welcome.

Jynx has food trigger, yes, hehe *oddity*
Spiders *shivers* I agree with you on that one too, (and the pulsating cosmic stew, lol!)
Awesome *bounces* am glad not to be giving you a headaches :D
*snickers* We will not make you write such things. If the warnings are not correct, or if the warnings are ambiguous then it's not really a case of paying attention, it's not reader responsibility, and if we hit something that triggers us and we weren't expecting it, I don't think any of us are gonna feel like being polite in requesting that the warnings are altered, because we are already wound up and angry. So, imo it's important not to get to that stage.
I have seen this on an author forum I visit too, where half the fandom thought a certain scene was rape and the other half didn't, but simply speaking, if half the fandom have a problem with a thing, then it is a problem, and adding a warning brings no harm and might help someone realize that they do not want to read such a thing. It's... I don't want to say manners, but if you are writing something that you know might be offensive then imo you have a responsibility to stop people from being upset by helping them to avoid reading it, did that make sense?
I know you're not making fun, I tried to keep this as light as I could while still (hopefully) making my point. I hate that you feel bad :( and I'm hoping if we can have some kind of open discussion, that we can avoid getting upset in the future.
Four has a lot to answer for *nods*
