So yesterday
Myles and I chated about where we are in life and blah blah blah... I told him all about this hottie I have been dating, and yes!!! the hottie has a name... Kevin.
Kevin already knows a little about Myles and so last night I told him that M may be in town this weekend as he is so attached to my family, and my family to him. I let kev know that I wanted to be upfront with him so he knows from the gate what he is signing up for. While things are not official between he and I, I would rather kick off the pace of our relationship on the right foot. The last guy I dated was OBSESSED with trying to be like Myles... I guess that is because my mother, sister and niece would talk about him incessantly. So he wanted to leave the same everlasting impression on my family. Well, he, in a sense did. He was the guy that I did so much “party’n” with. And that is just how my family views him. I have not bee with him since the end of January and have not even attempted to date anybody else. Nor have I bothered to introduce anybody to my family. I am certain that the last guy has made them kinda gun shy. So I told kev that it would take a while for them to warm up to you, if he stuck around that would eventually happen, his response: Im shy… (he is WAY shy) it will take me a while t o warm up to them also. So yea. Just wanted to dump a little off…
Tomorrow is my last day in Therapy. (rehab) and I go back to work on Monday after my 2.5 month sabbatical. I am very nervous about doing that =o\ Aside from that, this Saturday is my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, my mother and I spent the morning running all over town buying last minute stuff to pretty up the hall and for the center pieces for all the tables. This is going to be a formal sit down dinner, with the works. For a bunch of amateurs, I think we have this pretty well under wraps. And have managed to keep it a surprise for my grandparents… those of you who know my family and how close knit we all are, know that keeping this secret has been a daunting task in of itself.
