Yesterday I walked down to the PA Fabric Outlet on 4th to pick out some decorative accents for my crocheted bag. The rosettes and flower buttons will compliment the strands of ribbon I'm currently incorporating, and the silver button will serve as the closure for the top flap. The Myka Jelina faery buttons will get stuck in there somewhere once I'm done. I decided to stop fighting my inclination to Rococo-fy this thing to the hilt, so by the time I am finished there will probably be some pearls and seed beads involved as well. The end result will either be utterly fantastic or a complete disaster--hopefully the former!
I also grabbed a yard of this calico while I was there, since I think it's a much better match for the lining than the bits of fabric I purchased previously for that purpose (they'll get set aside for another project).
And finally--
"We've been through this before--why are you taking pictures of things and not paying attention to ME?"
