Patience is a Virtue

I am very happy to see that several of the plants I put in last year that never flowered--irises, peonies, geraniums, clematis--have come back larger and stronger than last season, and are already beginning to put out buds! The mini roses have started blossoming already, and the full size ones aren't far behind. In a few weeks (or possibly even days) we should begin to have a very nice show :)

Other positive gardening news--after extensive online research I have determined that the near universal opinion (on gardening message boards, at least) seems to be that mulching with used tea leaves is very beneficial for flowering plants. This is wonderful since I go through tea like nobody's business, and I hate throwing away anything that might be otherwise recycled.

I have a ton of pictures on my camera, garden-related and otherwise, that need to be uploaded--try to get to that sometime today...
