PBAL premieres fragrances inspired by 'Neverwhere'

As seen here.

This is exciting news! I know Neverwhere doesn't get much respect, due in large part, no doubt, to that ridiculous BBC miniseries; but it remains one of my very favorite Neil Gaiman novels, which makes this collection particularly special for me. I've been putting off placing a new BPAL order for ages, since I use what I have conservatively, and so am still working my way through the bottles of Marie, Persephone, and Blood Countess that I purchased three or four years ago (not to speak of the numerous imps I have accumulated from various sources). I think this new addition to the catalog might prod me into action, however. I've been waffling over getting some of the Stardust scents for ages anyway, and DUDE!, now I can smell like The Velvets! Which, really, is way too awesome an opportunity to pass up. I hope these beauties make it into the online shop soon...

Here are the ones I plan to get:

LAMIA: Deadly elegance: pale orchid, vanilla amber, black currant, white peach, champaca, coconut, Arabian myrrh, Burmese vetiver, and oude.

THE VELVETS: Smooth inky musk, cathedral incense, ylang ylang, violet leaf, rose-infused amber, red sandalwood, and iris.

books, neverwhere, bpal, fragrance, neil gaiman
