It took some patience and a good amount of hunting, but I finally a worthy frame for my
Paulina Cassidy miniature 'Marie Antoinette with Poppies'. Pewter, enamel, Austrian crystal--I think it suits the piece to perfection. See if you don't agree! (Ignore the temporary lack of matte board, I haven't decided on a color yet...)
And now for some housekeeping bits:
There's only so much you can do in the way of decorating when you only have one room to work with (especially when half of that room is a kitchen!) but I'm constantly making little improvements where I can...
Here's a random piece of wall, part of the work-in-progress 'Wall of Rococo' project. I say w-i-p, but if I'm going to get any more done I need a ladder. The ceiling is high, and I, alas, am quite short.
As you may be able to tell, I'm always on the lookout for interesting picture frames :D
New work space, YAY! What with taking the old table down, assembling the new one, and then figuring out which wires went to which piece of computer equipment, all told it took me around 4-5 hours to accomplish this. And I couldn't be more pleased. Taken just after I finished. It's become *slightly* more cluttered since then...
